Hello friends and welcome to our blog! We are so blessed to know so many of you and to consider you all our friends. This page will be a work in progress as we attempt to keep you all informed of events leading up to our big day. We are astonished at the way God has worked in our own individual lives in order to bring us together, and we give him glory and praise for his loving kindness and sovereign goodness. - Jeremy and Lindsay
- We are two servants of the Lord who he has brought together to live and serve in his Kingdom on earth. Jeremy proposed on February 1st, 2008. And Lindsay said "yes please!" We get to marry each other on August 9th, 2008. We are madly in love with each other.

About Lindsay
I love music. And I have the best music taste. I'm not a huge fan of movies and I don't watch any television. I was born on Halloween and still get asked if I was a "trick or a treat". I like to read and my favorite author may be a close tie between John Steinbeck and Mark Twain. I love good food, great wine, and better friends--preferably enjoyed all at once. I'd like to think I'm creative, but I'm probably more spontaneous and ambiguous than anything. I always wish I had more time. And usually, I'm running late. I work at a great rehabilitation hospital doing occupational therapy, which is a fancy title to say that I get the privilege of entering into people's lives and restore meaning, purpose, hope, and independence. I love what I do. I live with an amazing family, who has engulfed me with their unconditional love, unforgettable wisdom, and gripping grace. I also have a great big family of my own, being oldest of 7. I have two amazing parents and get the bonus of two equally amazing step-parents. I like to run around and get sweaty, especially if it involves a frisbee and good friends. I'm a succer for romantic creativity and love the power of words. I try to love Jesus consistently and believe I have a irreplaceable role in the Kingdom. I get to marry Jeremy Ruch.
About Jeremy
From Lindsay's perspective:
Jeremy is amazingly predictable in all the right ways, with a strong hint of unknown character that is always unexpected. He is unbearably modest at times, while known to be incredibly intelligent by so many people. His personality is attractive, and he is especially remarkable with middle-schoolers. He loves the McAllister Turkey Club with sweet tea (two lemons) and a side of potato salad, which he will always savor a bite of to finish every meal. When he finds something he likes, he holds on tight. Kind of like his Skechers or tall black dress socks worn with gym shorts. Or Lindsay. He has two more years at Covenant Seminary and then he hopes to pursue his doctorate somewhere, emphasizing study on the Old Testament and the Prophets. He would like to teach someday and the world needs him to do so. He is funny without being sarcastic and can admit when he's wrong, which tends to be frequently if I have anything to do with it. (not necessarily because I'm right, but rather because I'm incredibly stubborn). He loves music, but our tastes are almost completely polar opposite. He, however, has the gift of orchestrating and creating music. His voice is pure and he makes playing the guitar look easy.
He may change everything I've written. But he will likely love it and completely agree.

Hey Jeremy and Lindsay! Your blog is very neat and lindsay you are doing a great job with it. We all can't wait to come for the wedding! Maybe you could let us know of fun things to do in st. louis.
